Law Centre
Rochdale Law Centre aims to enable women experiencing violence in the home to gain access to the legal system. They offer advice about the legal system, available legal remedies, finding and using a solicitor, legal aid etc. They do not actually represent women on legal cases of violence against women in the home but will provide general advice. They will assist women facing immigration problems as a result of violence in the home. They also provide advice about housing law.

Saheli
Saheli provides emergency temporary refuge accommodation for South Asian women and their children experiencing domestic violence. A children’s service is also provided. Outreach and aftercare services are available and staff will work with women in the wider community.
